Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Overview

The IEEE (Eye-triple-E) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 423,000 individual members in 160 countries, more than 50% of whom are outside the United States.  IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional society for the advancement of technology.  The full name is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.
